Journey Coming to PSN on March 13th

Patrick Shaw, Wired:

One might worry that by eliminating most videogame conventions, Journey runs the risk of sacrificing its entertainment value. But despite all of the traditional game concepts Journey lacks, the game is never boring. In fact, it’s one of the most genuinely mesmerizing videogames I’ve experienced.

I still have a soft spot for their previous title, Flower. The simple premise of controlling the wind to control a stream of flower petals sounds oddly simplistic on the surface, but the range of emotions evoked through the visuals and music were a thing of beauty.

I have no doubt that I will also totally enjoy Journey as a magnificent piece of gaming art. I cannot wait to experience this game.
